The University of Wisconsin-Marathon County is a two-year institution with an enrollment of about 1,300 students and a 162-bed residence hall. The Scion Group, in collaboration with Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. has been engaged by the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County to perform a Residence Hall Consulting Study. The University plans to grow its housing operation with a new facility. Scion will advise the University on the planning, financing, and operation of the facility. In addition to a market analysis, Scion will analyze potential sites for the planned housing and provide various options for building space configuration and inclusion of student success amenities that support the formation of community and strong academic success. Scion will also create financial and long-range operational models for the overall housing system, including options for financing, rental rates, operating and utility costs, and management.
