As the coronavirus situation remains ever-changing, we know campus housing operations are on the front lines of institutional response. The work of campus housing professionals does not stop, even when instruction is delivered remotely and residence halls are closed. Please be assured that we are here with you and for you; if we can be of any assistance, we’re just a call or email away.
Our current approach to COVID-19 is centered on our team, the campus housing community, and continuity of our partnerships and engagements. Though everyday life is different and we have changed course accordingly, we are still here to serve our community of campus housing professionals during this time. The most prominent of our modified practices are detailed below.
- The health and safety of our team is paramount. In accordance with CDC guidelines and local, state and Federal actions, our staff are working from home and travel has been suspended for the upcoming weeks. We recognize our role to ensure appropriate social distancing.
- We hope to minimize disruptions to our ongoing partnerships and engagements. We recognize your priorities have suddenly changed, but aim to provide you with assurance. Whether moving our work to a virtual meeting or adjusting a project timeline, we will adapt to your needs.
- We are nimble. We are accustomed to being on-the-go. We are already prepared to work remotely on a ‘normal’ day—on the road, from a campus, or in-flight. Although the logistics are modified for now, the commitment to serving our clients is unchanged.
- As the most trusted advisor in student housing, it is our very nature to stay abreast of the economic, political, and organizational impacts that the novel coronavirus will have on higher education. These days are no different in how we learn with you, from you, and for you – centered on a strong future for campus housing.
If we can be of service, even simply using our professionals as a sounding board, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Sincerely,
The Advisory Services Team
