The Advisory Services practice of The Scion Group, North America’s leading consultants for higher-education student housing projects, is pleased to announce that Jaclyn Malone has joined the team as an associate vice president to support the growing number of colleges and universities it serves throughout the country.

Prior to joining The Scion Group, Jaclyn led the student housing team at a leading national consulting firm where she served clients ranging from small colleges to large universities, as well as nationally recognized development firms. During her tenure there, Jaclyn specialized in providing detailed institutional research and market analysis that helped her clients make optimal development and investment decisions. This included producing student housing market studies that assisted clients in capital raising efforts. Outside of student housing, Jaclyn has experience in multifamily acquisition due diligence including lease audits, in-place service contract analyses, and record-keeping assessment.

Jaclyn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of North Texas and a Master of Real Estate from Texas A&M University.

Scion’s Advisory Services practice is The Scion Group’s original core offering, serving clients since 1999, and today is the sector’s only consulting practice focused exclusively on campus housing projects. Scion has served more than 200 higher education institutions and advised on more than $5 billion of new or renovated campus housing projects, including numerous public-private partnerships (P3). The Advisory Services team collaborates with clients in all aspects of campus housing: housing feasibility; master planning; residential life programming; operations; program management; and asset management.

Congratulations to Jaclyn Malone in her new role!
